Visa Information
International attendees may need a visa to enter Japan. Please check the visa requirements for your country well in advance of the conference.
Visa Exemption
Citizens of many countries are exempt from obtaining a visa for short-term stays (up to 90 days) for tourism or business purposes, including attending conferences. Please check with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan to confirm whether your country is included in the visa exemption arrangement.

If you need an official invitation letter for your visa application, please contact the local chairs at hai2026localchairs@ai.info.gifu-u.ac.jp after completing your registration.
Please allow sufficient time for visa processing. We recommend starting the preparation 2-3 months before the conference dates.
