Full Paper Submission
HAI 2019 will accept ONLY online submissions of PDF files (no MS Word, Latex, etc.). Paper submissions should be at least 4 pages but no more than 8 pages. References are NOT included in the page count.
All submissions should be anonymized. Please remove all author information (not just making the text white), including references to your own work and institutions. If references must be made, make them in the third person. If a person appears in an image who may be recognized as an author, please blur their face.
If possible please list your paper number (assigned by the submission system) in your paper instead of your name.
All submissions will be reviewed by three reviewers and will receive a meta review for quality assurance. The paper will be evaluated on the basis of research originality, excellence, and significance, and relevance to HAI. We also invite position papers, preliminary (but high impact) studies, and concept papers.
All papers MUST be in the ACM Conference Paper format; be sure to leave the ACM copyright area blank. All submissions should be anonymous. Please visit the submission page to prepare and submit your papers. All accepted papers (except workshop papers) will be archived in the ACM Digital Library.
Poster submissions will similarly be online submissions of PDF files only. Submissions can be to 2 pages, and references are NOT included in the page count.
All submissions should be non-anonymized – the accepted poster submissions will be directly used as a camera-ready draft. There will be no chance after acceptance to update your paper, so please write and edit your manuscript carefully.
All papers MUST be in the ACM Conference Paper format; be sure to leave the ACM copyright area blank. This area will be changed in accordance with the ACM publication process (including conference name, ISSN, etc.).
All submissions will be reviewed by PC members for quality assurance. Posters will be evaluated on the basis of research originality, significance, and relevance to HAI.
