There are two types of oral paper sessions:
- Normal sessions = 25 minutes total for presentation (recommended: 20 minutes for talk and 5 minutes for questions)
- MT sessions = 30 minutes total for presentation (recommended: 20 minutes for talk and 10 minutes for questions)
Important Notice for Presenters at the MT sessions
We allocate longer presentation duration than normal sessions for presentations on the MT sessions, since machine translation may consume extra time for translation. Presenters at MT sessions are required to use Microsoft PowerPoint on the Windows PC prepared by the HAI organizers. Thus we ask the MT presenters to prepare the slides with Microsoft Power Point and submit the pptx file to hai2019mtsymp@hai-conference.net by 3rd Oct.
Notice for Normal Oral Presenters
Please bring your own laptop to connect to the projector: both HDMI and VGA will be available, but bring your own adaptors for Mac or USB-C.
Notice for All Presenters
Speakers should arrive 5-10 minutes ahead of their scheduled session to make sure that everything works. This is particularly important for speakers who have video to show with audio tracks.
Speakers should check in with their designated Session Chair (listed on the Technical Program page ) when they arrive.
