Official Language
The language of the conference is English.

Climate and Clothing
It is winter in December and the temperatures can vary from below freezing point -10 to +5 °C (~15-40 °F). Please note there may be occasional showers. We suggest that you bring a warm coat, and raincoat/umbrella as well as warm gloves, scarf and something to keep your head warm. This is a dark season with sunlight between 9am and 3 pm, so use a reflector outside in traffic (you will find one the conference bag).

Local Currency
The Swedish monetary unit is the Swedish krona (SEK), divided into 100 öre. Approximately: Euro 1=SEK 12, USD 1=SEK 11, GBP 1=SEK 13. Major credit cards are accepted almost everywhere. There are several currency exchange offices and cash dispensers at Landvetter International Airport and in Gothenburg. Please note: There are many cashless shops in Sweden and we recommend you to bring a credit card that is open for transactions made abroad.

Electricity
In Sweden the electrical voltage used is 220/230V.

Passport and Visas
Delegates are advised to contact the nearest embassy, consulate or travel agency for information about the passport and visa requirements from their country for entry to Sweden.
